Statement of Purpose
We, the members of THE PACT,having passed into our adulthood without great trial or tribulation, hereby pledge to make a change.
Like so many of our generation, we have lived lives as constant spectators. By and large we have simply watched or read as others have gone on great adventures, done great things, and suffered through great hardships. We hereby pledge to make a change.
We pledge to live by a simple code, striving for betterment. We aim to become stronger, faster, tougher and smarter. Perfection is our unattainable goal, and the object of our humble quest.
Our pledge is to live by the following principles:
1.To do rather than watch.
2.To conduct ourselves with honor, and integrity in all things. Deception of self or other PACT members is the greatest injustice.
3.To face our fears and shortcomings with courage and determination
4.The sucess of every member of the THE PACT is the responsibility of all members. If one fails, we all fail.
We embark on a Journey of Will, a quest to test our limitations and push past them. Each challenge we set for ourselves will Make us stronger physically, emotionally and intellectually. This is our purpose, our meaning, our reason from this day until our last day on earth.
