One week down

Week one of removing refined sugar from my diet has gone pretty well. I've been writing in my food journal. It's pretty boring, so I'll spare you, but I will say it's been a very helpful exercise and I'm going to continue it for at least another week. With this change my stomach issues are much better, and I have gone back to eating fruit for my sugar intake. This isn't the most exciting time of the year for fruits, but that's ok.
Weekends are the most difficult for me as there is less of a routine, and more opportuiny to deviate from an eating plan. On Saturday, The Goog and I went to see Daybreakers (a movie with proper vampires), and thankfully there is now a Trader Joe's near the theater, so that makes for a perfect stop for pre-movie snacks. I got these string bean things, that were slightly sweet, (but had no sugar), slightly salty and very crunchy (which likely means they were fried). They, and a piece of fruit leather made for a perfect movie watching treat.
For dinner we made Chicken and Vinegar, if you haven't tried this yet, this is me, reccomending it again!
